Restricted YouTube access is affecting regular viewers and all this because Google and Amazon are at odds with each other. Amazon has restricted access to Google’s products on it’s store by not making them available for sale while Google has altered the viewing experience of YouTube on Amazon devices. Basically the absence of reciprocity is affecting the consumer. Think about the larger picture and what can happen when Net Neutrality goes away. Large companies can censor other content “for whatever reason” and the consumer as always will be caught in the middle or content deemed “unfavourable” by large companies can be “suppressed”.
